Andrew Flintoff who is not playing in the third test match between England and West Indies is probably doing it so that he can save himself for playing in the second season of the Indian Premier League beginning in April. The thought operating at the back of his mind at the subconscious level would be the fact that he is one of the costliest players this season and he needs to justify that if he has to maintain a long term relationship with IPL. But the ECB may be having a different opinion.
