What time IPL Season 2 opening Ceremony begins?

Lot of people are asking what time is the opening ceremony of the IPL 2009 on April 18th. Even I am not sure :) . Tried checking SetMax website for the details and was not able to find it. The first match between Chennai Super Kings v Mumbai Indians at Cape Town begins at 12:30 local / 10:30 GMT / 16:00 IST. I presume the opening ceremony will be begin 2-3 hours before the match?

Any one knows the exact time? Do chip in with your comments.

  1. Bollywood style opening ceremany with indian dance and music will be held before and after 1st game…..
    and then a huge Hollywood style ceremony,which include fireworks, laser shows, performers from Las Vegas etc will be held after 2nd game
