Delhi Daredevils 179 for 5 (Karthik 56*) beat Mumbai Indians 176 for 8 (Jayasuriya 66, Uthappa 46, Mahesh 4-36) by five wickets

Delhi Daredevils middle order came good when it mattered to clinch a thrilling five-wicket victory and keep their semi-finals hopes alive. Delhi Daredevils are on 15 points after their 14 matches. They would be hoping for a favorable result in the crucial tie between Deccan Chargers and Chennai Super Kings which would decide Chennai’s fate. Another remote chance is that Mumbai Indians should loose their remaining two matches to make Delhi and Chennai through to semis which seems very unlikely.
