Karunanidhi wants Chennai Super Kings to win

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi Tuesday appended his name to a “wish-petition” signed by thousands of fans, urging hosts Chennai Super Kings to win both their T20 Indian Premier League outings to be played here Wednesday and Saturday.

The petition was ceremoniously handed over to CSK skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni by officials from India Cements, the company that owns the team. A sell-out crowd of over 50,000 is expected to witness
