Deccan Chargers, one of the strongest teams in the Indian Premier League, lost their second match on the trot as they were thrashed by Delhi Daredevils, on their home ground – the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. The Daredevils won the match by nine wickets and with seven overs to spare on Tuesday night, and Chargers skipper VVS Laxman was a disappointed man after the loss.
Speaking at the post-match ceremony, Laxman said the manner of loss was disappointing, and especially so, as the Chargers were completely outplayed in their first home match. He also said their total of 142 runs was never going to be enough on a good batting pitch.

What I believe is Deccan Charges need one most experienced captain instead of Laxman. He is a test player and completely unaware of 20-20 format game and getting frusturated. He could have made C.Vaas bowl the last over againset Rajasthan Royals but I don’t know what made him to give the bal in Symonds court though Symonds have failed to impress with a ball. Herschelle Gibbs could be the better option for captaincy.
