Dedicated slot
Indian Premier League to have a dedicated slot in ICC calendar so that the world’s best cricketers are available

Additional Franchises
There should be additional two more franchises which would take the total to 10. If all the international players are available then they need to be accommodated also.

5 International players per team
International players per team should be increased to 5 from the current limit of 4. This would give some flexibility for the teams to varied combination of batsmen and bowlers for a match. 5 International and 6 Indian players should be a good combination. Also it would enable all the international players to get a chance.

Best of three finals
Best of three finals between the top two teams of the league instead of the semi-finals and one finals.

Rest of the razzmatazz of cheer leaders, bollwood, music, fun, fireworks included in the IPL 2009 season.

Any other wish list you have? Do share…

T. Venkattram Reddy, Deccan Chargers, Paid: $107.01 million
Shah Rukh Khan, Kolkata Knight Riders, Paid: $75.09 million
Everyday Cricket seems to be bit addictive with Indian Premier League matches played with such zeal. Indian Premier League has made people look for every day cricket.

Few reasons why one is looking forward to everyday Cricket

1. My city team is playing
2. I want to see the captaincy played out between Yuvi and Dhoni, Ganguly and Dravid etc
3. Just want to see Gilly thrashing the cherry
4. Two strong teams are playing
5. Underdogs Rajasthan Royals are playing. They are the real team to watch for…
6. Waiting for Viru to blast
7. Hayden, Symo in tremendous form
8. Great youngsters in Rajasthan Royals

This is just a glimpse of innumerable reasons why one is looking forward for everyday cricket. Wonder what would happen after the Grand Finale of the IPL on June 1st!

Lehmann is already talking about the second season and expects it to bigger and better. So would be many English players. Until 2009, lets look forward to everyday Cricket!

There are a lot of fantasy cricket games that are in the ring for the Indian Premier League trying to woo the cricket fans to participate in their game with lot of great prizes to be won. In the ring there are some old fantasy cricket games which have been there for years and few new ones have emerged. Super selector and Cricinfo fantasy games are the old contenders and the new ones are the IFL, presino and Khelo IPL. Last but not the least, the Official IPL fantasy game is also available on facebook.

Personally speaking, I am participating in a couple of them. I am sure lot many of you will also be playing. Just want to take a poll on which do you feel is the best of the lot.

[poll=11]
