BCCI invites bid for IPL title sponsorship rights

 The Cricket Board on Thursday invited bids for global title sponsorship rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The winning bidder would have its name attached to the domestic 20 overs per side league involving franchised teams based in the country, IPL Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi said in a statement. The title sponsorship rights include a number of naming, branding and other marketing benefits, he said.
