WITH 59 matches in six weeks, an avalanche of sixes and plenty of controversy, the rich new Indian Premier League has taken India by storm. It has delivered big crowds at most games, hundred of millions of television viewers and a bucket-load of money to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, which is set to record a profit of about $100 million from the first IPL, The Times of India reported.
