TEST skipper Ricky Ponting says proposed $15 million Indian Premier League super-contracts could cripple cricket’s sparkling new toy. In an assessment driven by the heart and head rather than the pocket, Ponting has urged IPL bosses not to abolish the $5 million salary cap on each franchise.
