Tribunal rejects Shoaib appeal on five year ban

A tribunal rejected fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar’s appeal on Wednesday against the five-year ban imposed on him by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “Shoaib could play anywhere else in the world but not in or for Pakistan domestically or internationally,” said Justice Aftab Farrukh, head of the three-member tribunal.

Shoaib can play in IPL, however BCCI officials have confirmed that he will not be allowed to play in Indian Premier League also. Hmmm… looks like Akthar’s career has come to a grinding halt. Hard luck for Knight Riders. It proves that no player is bigger than the GAME.
