Tribunal split over Shoaib case

Shoaib has apologised from the bottom of his heart and asked all the parties involved that he should be forgiven. “Just forgive him, let him play cricket. Just let him go for the IPL (Indian Premier League),” said the member. But there was a clear disagreement on his plea. The first one to object to the proposal was PCB’s lawyer Tafazzal Hussain Rizvi. Rizvi, the rival lawyer, also said that the case doesn’t end with Shoaib’s apology. “It (the apology) could have made a difference had it come before he (Shoaib) was banned. Now it just depends on the tribunal and how they see this case.”
