International Cricket Council chief executive Haroon Lorgat announced Saturday that a Twenty20 World Cup would be staged in the West Indies in 2010. A similar tournament will be held in England next June before the rescheduled Champions Trophy.

West Indies is not a good choice for the venue of staging the World Cup as we have all experienced the previous World Cup was a real dampner especially for India (loss to Bangladesh) also surrounded by controversies (Bob Woolmer) etc.
