Embarrassing defeat for Kolkata Knight Riders
An inspirational bowling performance by the Mumbai Indians saw the Kolkata Knight Riders getting dismissed for a lowest ever total in the IPL. A fine performance from South Africa’s Shaun Pollock (3 for 12) bowled out Knight Riders for an embarrassing 67.
Sanath Jayasuriya continued his sparkling form with a 17-ball unbeaten 48 to take Mumbai Indians to their 5th consecutive victory taking them to the fourth spot on the table. Jayasuriya is the leading six scorer of the IPL after this match. Shaun Pollock was the ‘Man of the Match’ for his stupendous bowling performance.
