All’s not fair for IPL cheerleaders

Two cheerleaders from London were allegedly asked to leave the Mohali ground by event management company, Wizcraft, because they had a darker skin colour. However, Wizcraft denies the charge. The CEO of Wizcraft, Sabbas Joseph has told CNN-IBN that the girls were contracted for just one day of work.

Shiv Sena opposes Pakistani cricketers in IPL

Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray put a dampener on the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders by demanding that no Pakistani player should be permitted to play in the league.

No aussie pull-out from IPL

Indian Premier League Commissioner Lalit Modi rubbished reports that Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Shane Warne along with teammates Shane Watson and Graeme Smith is quitting the tournament due to the bomb blasts in Jaipur, saying the trio are already on their way to the Pink City to play the next match there.
